Project Slayers Slayers 2 Getting Started Guide

Windy Peak to first trainers — the clean beginner route for Project Slayers.

Getting Started

Welcome to Project Slayers on Roblox, with this page focused on Slayers 2 by Ouw Productions (released September 18, 2026). If you just spawned at Windy Peak, this beginner guide is the shortest honest path through early quests, material farms, and your first trainer gate. Keep Codes open in another tab so you can redeem Wen and items before the first long grind. When combat feels clumsy, jump to Controls and Combat; when you are ready to commit a race, open Become a Slayer or Become a Demon.

Spawn goals at Windy Peak

Your first hour is not about perfect fashion or rare clans. Talk to nearby quest NPCs, clear bandit-style objectives around the safe zone, and learn block, dash, and basic M1 strings. Early quests teach map reading: follow markers, return to turn-ins, and avoid wandering into high-level demon pockets before you own a real katana. Buy a starter blade as soon as Wen allows — walking with only fists slows every farm that follows.

Skill points arrive at three points per level. Invest early points into survivability and stamina-related nodes so dash and block stay available during multi-enemy packs. Fancy damage nodes can wait until you stop dying to trash mobs. Titles, gamepasses, and cosmetics are optional; none of them replace quest XP and clean combat habits.

Quests, bears, and the mid-early loop

After the opening bandit chain, move into the bear hunting loop. Cub packs are safer XP; mother bears punish greedy M1 spam. Use sprint (Shift) to reposition, wall climb (CTRL) to reset height when the terrain allows, and dash (Q) to leave slam telegraphs. This loop funds your first weapon upgrades and fills inventory space with sellable junk that converts into Wen for trainers later.

While you level, note where High Demons and Beast Born packs live. You will need Demon Horns and Beast Cores for breathing trainers around level 25. Farming them early — even before the trainer speaks to you — removes the worst bottleneck on the Slayer path. Pair farms with quest turn-ins so travel time is never empty.

Trainers, materials, and the level 25 gate

Breathing styles unlock through trainers who demand level, Wen, and materials. Exact trainer menus differ by style, but the beginner pattern is consistent: reach ~25, bring Demon Horns and Beast Cores, pay the Wen fee when asked, then clear short training tasks (timing bars, push-ups, boulder puzzles, aim drills, trainee duels). Water and other starter-friendly styles are popular first picks; check the Tier List after you understand your preferred range and mobility.

Do not rush Final Selection the moment you unlock a style. Selection expects roughly level 45, healing items, and comfort with air and special combos. Use levels 25–45 to deepen mastery, finish map exploration toward Mistfall landmarks, and bank ores or Wen using tips from Ores and Wen.

Clan rolls, merchants, and quality-of-life

Clan rolls can spice stats, but a “bad” clan does not block the beginner route. Focus on quest markers, a reliable katana, and inventory discipline. Visit merchants for healing items before any elite pack. Raid chests and special world events are bonuses — clear them when they appear near your path, but do not abandon a quest chain mid-turn-in for a distant chest you cannot open yet.

Blacksmith and special katana hunts belong after you can survive open-world demons consistently. Fishing, niche bosses, and shotgun-style side toys are fun diversions once your main XP curve is stable. If you prefer visual learning, the mid-article video walks the same beginner beats: spawn tips, materials, trainers, and the fork between Slayer and Demon.

First-week checklist

  1. Redeem active Codes and spend Wen on a real weapon plus heals.
  2. Clear Windy Peak quests into the bear loop without skipping turn-ins.
  3. Put skill-tree points into stamina, block, and mobility before glass-cannon nodes.
  4. Stock Demon Horns and Beast Cores before shopping trainers at level 25.
  5. Practice dash, wall climb, and one special combo from the controls guide.
  6. Choose Slayer Corps or Demon, then follow the matching guide end to end.
  7. Recheck Players and Wiki Links when you need clan or social context.

Common beginner mistakes

Sprinting into Mistfall Harbor content underleveled wastes time. Ignoring negative-reputation warnings while “just exploring” can lock you into Demon pressure before you meant to. Spending ore on cosmetic resets before you understand race goals is expensive. Skipping healing stock before Final Selection practice runs is how Hand Demon attempts end early. Treat this page as the onboarding spine, then deepen with sibling guides instead of mixing half-finished routes.

Slayers 2 will keep patching numbers. If a quest XP value or trainer fee shifts, trust the live NPC prompt. The structure above — Peak quests, bears, materials, trainer, then race path — remains the stable beginner skeleton for Project Slayers players who want clean progress without wasted evenings.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where do I start in Slayers 2?

You spawn at Windy Peak. Clear local quests, buy a katana, then move into bear hunts while banking Demon Horns and Beast Cores for trainers.

How many skill points do I get per level?

The skill tree grants three points per level. Early investment in stamina, block, and mobility usually beats pure damage nodes.

When can I unlock breathing and Final Selection?

Breathing trainers generally open around level 25 with material costs. Final Selection is a later gate near level 45 after you can fight confidently.

Should beginners become a Slayer or a Demon first?

Most new players learn faster on the Slayer path. Switch to Demon only if you specifically want that fantasy and accept reputation plus Muzan quests.

What should I do with codes as a beginner?

Redeem live codes immediately for Wen and items, then buy weapon and healing upgrades before long material farms.
