How to Become a Demon in Project Slayers 2
Reputation, Muzan, Doctor Higoshima, Spider Lilies, and Blood Demon Arts entry.
Choosing the Demon path in Project Slayers on Slayers 2 trades sunlight safety and Corps quests for Blood Demon Arts, night pressure, and a reputation-gated meeting with Muzan. This walkthrough covers the live sequel route: push reputation negative, meet Muzan at night on the Mistfall Harbor approach, complete the Doctor Higoshima delivery, gather Spider Lilies, drink the blood reward, then start BDA spins while respecting sunlight rules. If you still need the beginner spine, read Getting Started first. Compare the alternate fantasy on Become a Slayer before you burn ore on a race reset from Ores and Wen.
Should you go Demon?
Demons shine in aggressive PvP and art-driven boss pressure, but they inherit classic franchise constraints: sunlight is dangerous, and your social standing with Slayer NPCs collapses as reputation falls. Most beginners learn combat faster on the Slayer path; switch only if you specifically want the Demon fantasy and accept night-timed steps. After the transformation, use the Blood Demon Arts Tier List and Best Builds to plan rolls instead of spinning blind.
Keep Codes redeemed so Wen and materials cushion failed attempts or travel costs. Practice movement from Controls and Combat before the Doctor escort — sprint and dash matter more than raw M1 spam when Slayer NPCs chase the carry.
Step 1 — Drive reputation negative
Demon access is reputation-gated, not a character-creation checkbox. Lower your standing by defeating Kanoe Demon Slayers in snow zones, harming civilians where the client allows, or fighting other players until the number sits deep in the red. Community clears often target around -500 as a reliable trigger threshold; stop when Muzan’s message appears rather than overfarming endlessly.
Check the reputation readout in the menu (M) after each pack so you know when to pivot. Do not start Mistfall night runs before the message — arriving early wastes a night cycle.
Step 2 — Wait for Muzan’s night message
Once reputation is low enough, Muzan contacts you and asks for a night meeting. That message is the real unlock. Ignore rumor maps that skip the prompt. When it lands, prepare heals, clear inventory clutter, and plan a straight route from the bear area north toward Mistfall Harbor using the on-screen compass.
Step 3 — Meet Muzan at Mistfall Harbor at night
Return to the bear loop landmark, face north, and push to Mistfall Harbor only at night. Muzan does not hold daytime office hours on this route. Talk to him and accept the offer to take the path — launch coverage mentions a Biwa Bell style item that teleports you into his domain for follow-up dialogue. Use it, speak again, and accept the quest pair.
Part 1 players may remember random night spawns across Map 1 villages and Butterfly Mansion hills. Slayers 2’s documented early route is more Harbor-directed after the reputation message. If a patch moves his stand point, trust the live marker over outdated Part 1 pin lists.
Step 4 — Deliver Doctor Higoshima
The first major task is capturing Doctor Higoshima (also written Higeoshima in some UIs) and carrying him to the delivery point. Follow the quest waypoint instead of guessing alleys. The dangerous part starts the moment you grab him: Slayer NPCs spawn and chase. Do not clear every fighter — run the route, dash through gaps, and prioritize delivery time over pride duels.
If night ends before you finish, you may need to reacquire Muzan or restart the carry window depending on the live client. Bring stamina-friendly skill nodes and know your sprint key (Shift) cold.
Step 5 — Collect Spider Lilies
The second task asks for a batch of Spider Lilies. Slayers 2 guides commonly cite nine flowers (red and blue both counting on many builds), while legacy Part 1 text often said five Blue Spider Lilies. Read the quest counter in your session and farm to that number — do not stop at five if the tracker still wants nine.
Flowers spawn across the map. A fast method is checking the Water Trainee area, grabbing what is up, then server-hopping instead of waiting on long local respawns. Night glow can make blue variants easier to spot. Turn both quests in to Muzan when complete.
Step 6 — Drink Muzan’s Blood
Muzan rewards Muzan’s Blood as an inventory item. Nothing happens until you equip and use it. Drink to start the transformation. In Part 1, drinking had a noted 75% success / 25% fail (“You have failed me”) loop that forced quest repeats. Treat Slayers 2 the same way mentally: confirm your race actually flipped in the menu before celebrating, and be ready to repeat if a fail state still exists on your build.
After success you are a Demon for progression purposes. Sunlight becomes a planning constraint — schedule outdoor travel and farms around night windows when possible. Wisteria-style hazards from franchise lore may still matter depending on map props; give glowing flower fields respect until you learn safe paths.
Blood Demon Arts spins and next goals
Demons invest in Blood Demon Arts (BDA) instead of Slayer breathing trainers. Spin with intention: check the Blood Demon Arts Tier List, then convert a winner into a loadout on Best Builds. Wen still pays consumables and travel; ore still funds expensive resets — see Ores and Wen.
Do not expect Corps Final Selection rewards (uniform, crow) on this path. If you later want Slayer fantasy, budget ore for a race reset instead of deleting the account.
Part 1 contrast (quick)
Legacy Part 1: find night Muzan at random Map 1 pins, level gate often discussed around 15, deliver Doctor, collect five Blue Spider Lilies, drink blood with RNG fail chance. Slayers 2: reputation first, Harbor night meeting after the message, Doctor escort under chase pressure, lily count commonly nine, then drink and BDA planning. Use Part 1 only as historical color.
Practical checklist
- Finish early combat comfort via Getting Started.
- Push reputation to the trigger (often near -500) and wait for Muzan’s message.
- Reach Mistfall Harbor at night; accept bell / domain steps.
- Deliver Doctor Higoshima without overfighting chasers.
- Farm Spider Lilies to the live quest count (often nine).
- Drink Muzan’s Blood and verify race change.
- Spin BDAs using tier guidance; keep Codes and economy pages handy.

Commit once you understand sunlight and reputation costs. A clean Demon clear beats three half-finished reputation farms and a panic ore reset.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How do I start the Demon quest in Slayers 2?
Lower reputation until Muzan messages you, then meet him at night on the Mistfall Harbor route and accept his quest line.
Where do I find Muzan?
On the documented Slayers 2 route, head north from the bear area to Mistfall Harbor at night after the reputation message. Part 1 used many random night pins.
What do Doctor Higoshima and Spider Lilies do?
They are Muzan’s required quests. Deliver the Doctor under Slayer chase pressure, then gather the lily count shown on your tracker (often nine in Slayers 2 guides).
What happens after I drink Muzan’s Blood?
You should transform into a Demon and unlock Blood Demon Art progression. Confirm the race change in the menu; legacy clients could fail the drink and force a repeat.
Can Demons walk in sunlight?
Sunlight is dangerous for Demons. Plan outdoor travel and farms around safer night windows whenever the live client still enforces burn rules.
