Project Slayers Slayers 2 Skill Tree Guide

Three points per level, titles, mobility first, then fund your Breathing or BDA kit.

Skill Tree

The Skill Tree is the quiet engine behind every strong Project Slayers 2 account. Levels still raise your floor, but the tree decides whether you can climb to trainers, survive bear packs, or unlock the forms that make a Breathing Style or Blood Demon Art feel complete. This page explains how points arrive (about three skill points per level), where to spend them early versus late, how titles and the player info panel fit in, and how the tree interacts with faction choices. Pair it with Best Builds, the Players hub, the Tier List, Getting Started, Controls, and Codes.

How skill points work

Official showcase material and launch-week guides agree: you earn about three skill points every level. Points are universal—there is no separate “Slayer only” currency—so a Demon and a Slayer draw from the same pool. Categories commonly discussed in community and developer showcases include:

  • Character / body — max health, health regen, max stamina, stamina regen, block points, movement speed
  • Mobility / innateWall Climb, Double Jump, and related traversal nodes
  • Weapons — weapon skill unlocks and upgrades (often capped so you choose rather than stack everything)
  • Breathing / EVA (BDA) — form unlocks and style or art passives once you have a combat identity
  • Clan branches — clan-specific passives that only matter if you keep that clan

Mastery is separate from your account level. Hitting level 25 unlocks trainer access, but filling out Serpent Slash, Thunder forms, or Blood barrages still costs tree points plus mastery progress. Do not assume “I leveled” means “my kit is finished.”

Open the tree from the M menu. Spend points one node at a time; later forms often require both points and mastery gates.

Player info panel and titles

The player info panel is where you confirm level, faction fantasy, equipped titles, and the combat identity you actually have online—not the one you plan to buy next week. Check it after every major unlock so you do not walk into Final Selection or a night farm with the wrong loadout assumptions.

Titles are passive bonuses you equip from progress rewards and milestones. Launch-week guides note you can equip up to three titles at once, and they stack. Prioritize flat damage, damage factor, health, stamina, or (for Demons) evil-art damage when those options appear. Early titles such as progression or village-themed unlocks are fine placeholders until better combat titles drop. Revisit the panel whenever you clear a major questline—new title slots left empty are free power left on the table.

Early allocation (levels 1–25)

Before Breathing or BDA unlocks, the tree is mostly a survival and traversal tool.

  1. Wall Climb and Double Jump first. Several Breathing trainers sit on cliffs, roofs, and Iceveil shelves. Without Wall Climb, Serpent, Thunder, Sound, and other cliff routes are painful or impossible.
  2. Stamina and block points next. Early combat is a block-and-dash loop against bandits and bears; more stamina means more dashes and fewer stunned deaths.
  3. Max health / regen once mobility is online. Extra HP forgives learning mistakes in the bear zone (where PvP can also turn on).
  4. Delay pure damage nodes and deep clan branches until you can reach trainers and stay alive in packs.

Claim Codes early so Wen and spins support the grind while you bank Demon Horns and Beast Cores. Practice bindings from Controls so new stamina actually turns into cleaner M1 strings. For the broader onboarding spine, stay on Getting Started.

Mid and late allocation (after style or art unlock)

Once a trainer or Demon route hands you a kit, shift spending:

  • Buy the first useful forms for your Breathing Style or BDA in the style/art category.
  • Keep topping stamina and survivability if duel servers or elite packs still delete you.
  • Invest in weapon skill nodes that match the weapon your kit requires (Blood Manipulation sickle talk is a common example—confirm in client).
  • Only then deepen clan nodes if your current clan is a keeper.

Compare sample loadouts on Best Builds and ranking context on the Tier List before dumping a huge point bank into a C-tier fantasy.

Late game, points become a polish budget: ultimate-adjacent nodes, niche passives, and second-form upgrades. Avoid respec panic every viral video—finish one identity first.

Breathing versus BDA interaction

Slayer path: Level ~25 plus materials (often about 10–30 Demon Horns and ~5 Beast Cores depending on style) unlocks a trainer. After the trial, the tree’s Breathing branch lights up. Wall Climb remains mandatory for many trainer approaches even after unlock day. Detailed trainer routes live beside economy notes on Ores and Wen and the Breathing Trainers guide.

Demon path: Reputation, Muzan, and BDA acquisition follow a different story, but the same universal points fund EVA/BDA skill nodes, weapon skills, and body stats. Titles that boost evil-art damage pair especially well once Blood or Ice is online.

Faction choice does not reset your body or mobility investment—those nodes stay valuable on both paths. Use the Players hub map when you are still deciding which fantasy to fund.

Gamepasses (optional, not required)

Slayers 2 sells convenience and cosmetic-leaning gamepasses like many Roblox experiences. Treat them as optional accelerators, not a skill-tree substitute. A Wall Climb node you earn by leveling beats waiting on a purchase decision; points from play always matter. If you buy anything, do it after you understand which clan, style, and weapon you are committing to—see Best Builds—so Robux supports a plan instead of a random restart. This wiki never requires gamepasses to follow progression advice.

Common mistakes

  • Dumping all early points into damage while trainers sit on unreachable cliffs
  • Ignoring titles so three empty slots waste stacking bonuses
  • Unlocking a style then forgetting to buy its first forms in the tree
  • Spending clan nodes on a clan you intend to spin away tomorrow
  • Assuming Part 1 attribute habits still apply—Slayers 2 is tree-driven

Spend mobility early, fund your real kit after unlock day, and keep titles filled. That is the skill-tree loop that separates stuck accounts from characters who can actually finish trainers and duel with intent.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many skill points do I get per level in Slayers 2?

About three skill points per level. They are universal across character, mobility, weapon, Breathing/BDA, and clan branches.

What should I unlock first in the skill tree?

Wall Climb and Double Jump first, then stamina and block points. Damage nodes can wait until trainers are reachable and you stop dying to packs.

How do titles work with the player info panel?

You can equip up to three titles at once and they stack. Check the player info panel after major unlocks so combat titles and your real kit stay aligned.

Do skill points work differently for Slayers and Demons?

No. Points are shared. After you unlock a Breathing Style or BDA, spend into that branch plus matching weapon nodes while keeping survivability healthy.

Do I need gamepasses to use the skill tree well?

No. Gamepasses are optional convenience. Leveling into Wall Climb and funding one real kit matters more than any purchase for early progress.
